The month of November reminds us all of gratitude and the importance of practicing it in our daily lives, personally and professionally. With Thanksgiving, many of us are fortunate enough to take a break with family and friends, gather around a table filled with delicious food, and truly think about what’s most important. For many, it also begins a period of self-reflection, with the year quickly approaching its conclusion and the new year just on the horizon. With this introspection, we look at where we’ve been and how far we’ve come, and begin to plan our next steps, all with gratitude.
Particularly with the turmoil and disruption we’ve all experienced over the past twenty months, we wanted to use this time to share what we’re thankful for at Agile Planners, and to encourage you to take some time to do the same.
What We’re Grateful for this November
Our Health
We’ve all be touched in some way by the COVID-19 pandemic. And this year, it hit as close to home as possible for us. We could not begin to talk about what we are thankful for this year without mentioning our extreme gratitude that our family members and I all got through this virus and are healthy today. We are also thankful for the wonderful care we received while we were sick, and for the time to recuperate at our own pace. Mostly, this brings up another point though. We tend to take our health for granted, and whether it’s COVID-19 or any other ailment or injury, we can’t. This year, my sincere hope is that we all remember that without our health, all the things we think are more important simply aren’t.
